Chartered Adjudicator (C.Adj)

Following Privy Council approval in 2023, Ciarb is now able to award the designation of Chartered Adjudicator. Members with relevant experience can apply for Chartered Adjudicator (C.Adj) status during two application rounds in 2024.

Chartered status represents excellence in practice.  To be eligible to apply for Chartered Adjudicator status, an applicant must:

  • Be an existing Ciarb Fellow; and
  • Have experience of completing a minimum of twenty-five (25) difficult and complex cases as an adjudicator; and
  • Have a diverse range of experience as an adjudicator.

Chartered Adjudicator Guidance for Applicants Spring 2024

For the Spring 2024 application round, the office will accept applications submitted between 1st April and 30th April.  Only those applications submitted during this period and by the deadline of 30th April, 17.00 GMT, along with full payment of the application fee, will be considered.  Applications submitted beyond the deadline or without payment will not be considered.
