Have you got five or more years’ practical experience either as a representative or practitioner in international arbitration? Do you have substantial but unassessed knowledge of international arbitration? Then you can fast-track your way to Ciarb Fellowship (FCIArb).

“I would unreservedly recommend [this] course. It exceeded my expectations, with excellent tutors, comprehensive preparatory materials, and was also a great chance to meet others in the international arbitration field.”Alastair Tomson, Barrister, 4 Stone Buildings, London, England

The Accelerated Route to Fellowship is an intensive five-day assessment programme. It is designed to assess whether you have the knowledge and skills required to:

  • Apply the principles and procedure of international arbitration using arbitration legislation based on the UNCITRAL Model Law and Arbitration Rules.
  • Write a reasoned and enforceable Arbitration Award.

Upon successfully completing the programme, you can apply to become a Ciarb Fellow. Fellowship (FCIArb) is internationally recognised and respected. When you become a Ciarb Fellow, you join a distinguished group of experienced alternative dispute resolution (ADR) practitioners. Fellowship unlocks eligibility to join Ciarb’s and other global dispute panels.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ practical experience of international arbitration either as a representative or an international arbitrator;
  • Have substantial knowledge of the framework of international arbitration;
  • Can recognise and evaluate evidence;
