Adjudication is the preferred form of dispute resolution in the construction industry. It allows parties to get a legally binding decision on construction disputes without long and expensive court proceedings, and within a fixed timeframe.

If you are new to construction adjudication or are interested in developing a career in this field, then our popular Introduction course is for you.

Ciarb’s Introduction to Construction Adjudication provides you with an understanding of the general principles of this discipline and its relationship to other dispute resolution processes.

On successful completion of Ciarb’s Introduction to Construction Adjudication course and its assessment (available separately), you will:

  • Have a clear understanding of the legal framework of construction adjudication.
  • Understand the good practice of, and procedure in, construction adjudication.
  • Be eligible to apply for Associate membership of Ciarb (ACIArb) – ideal if you are just starting out on your career in private dispute resolution.
