Florence Shako is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya who is also a practicing arbitrator and certified professional mediator. She graduated with a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya where she graduated at the top of her class.

Florence is the Senior Partner at Mitullah, Shako and Associates Advocates, a firm that specializes in dispute resolution, commercial transactions, real estate, advisory and consulting and pro bono litigation. Florence is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Public Secretary. She also holds several professional memberships notably, a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya. Florence has been a lecturer for ten years and taught extensively in commercial law, labour law and alternative dispute resolution with a focus on access to justice.
