Abdulla Abu Wasel is the Managing Associate of Wasel & Wasel, a heavyweight disputes law firm in the UAE, and the Director of Operations of Wasel & Wasel Arbitrator Services Inc., a powerhouse arbitrator firm headquartered in Toronto. Abdulla is also the Secretary to the Board and Chief of Staff of The Hague Institute for Global Justice, an NPO based in the city of The Hague.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an Associate of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators, a Member of the Dispute Board Federation, a Member of the Young International Arbitration Group of the London Court of International Arbitration, a Member of the New York International Arbitrator Center, and a Member of the Space Generation Advisory Council.

In 2020, KPMG awarded him Millennial Changemaker of the Year and the year after, In 2021, Abdulla was a finalist for the Reuters ALB Middle East Young Lawyer of the Year award.
