Job Title: Head of Legal, Gamuda Land

Diana Rahman is the Head of Legal for Gamuda Land, the property development arm of Gamuda Berhad, one of Malaysia’s largest engineering, property and infrastructure conglomerate, where she oversees all legal matters and regularly provides legal opinion and risks analysis to the company’s various divisions and business units.

Prior to joining Gamuda Land, Ms Rahman served as the Deputy Head of Legal Services at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), where she supervises the administration of hundreds of ADR cases encompassing arbitration, adjudication, mediation and domain disputes. During her time with the AIAC, the portfolios include the AIAC’s sports arbitration practice and mediation initiatives, where under the umbrella of the AIAC Young Practitioners Group (YPG), Ms Rahman sat as the co-chair of the mediation committee between 2019 to 2021.

Between September 2019 and December 2020, Ms Rahman was appointed as the Secretary-General of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC). Ms Rahman was also appointed as the Honorary Secretary for the Sports Law Association of Malaysia (SLAM) for the 2020-2021 term.
Ms Rahman is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) UK, and empanelled as an arbitrator with the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA).

Additionally, Ms Rahman is also an accredited mediator, certified by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK, as well as an accredited trainer, accredited by Human Resource Development Corporation (HDRCorp) under the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources. Ms Rahman is currently pursuing her research degree at the University of Malaya (UM).
