Alexander Mathai Paikaday is a Legal Associate at the New Delhi office of Paikeday & Paikeday Lawyers and enrolled as an Advocate before the Bar Council of Delhi. He is part of the Dispute Resolution team practising before various Indian Courts, including the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts. He has a keen interest in Investment Arbitration and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), apart from International Commercial Arbitration.

At the age of 24, he is the youngest Fellow (FCIArb) in India of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, UK, as of Oct 2021.

He has received an appointment as a Sole Arbitrator for 13 NBFC Arbitrations. His fields of practice consist of Arbitration, Corporate Law, Constitutional, Civil and Taxation. He has been an Arbitrator for various International Competitions such as Vis East Moot, Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot.
