Job Title: Chartered Accountant Partner, Solicitor & Special Professor of Laws

Being a jointly-qualified solicitor & chartered accountant, my arbitration, expert determination & mediation appointments tend to interface law & finance. I have sat on the CIArb London branch committee, the CIArb audit committee & the CIArb management committee.

My ADR specialisms inc:

 Partnerships; I have been regularly appointed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Law Society & the Association of Partnership Professionals.

 Anglo-US; I am admitted to the bars of New York & of England & Wales.

 Gibraltar; I maintain offices & residences in both London & Gibraltar, & have an interest & client base in ‘Gibraltar specialisms’, ie blockchain & cyber-currency, & at the time of writing, I am the only Gibraltar (a VAT free jurisdiction) arbitrator noted on the website.

 HNWI family disputes; I am the author of the leading text on ADR & HNWI family & trust settlements disputes.

 Cellular structures; I am the author of the leading text on protected cell structures, especially as they relate to insurance, fund & asset management disputes.

 Insolvency, bankruptcy & corporate reconstruction; I am a licensed insolvency practitioner (UK & Gibraltar) & Special Professor of Insolvency Law at Nottingham University.

I tend to documents-only arbitrations &/or remote hearings to reduce costs & enhance convenience.
