As a partner with Clifford-Turner/Clifford Chance (1975-2003); Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy (2003-2009); and Arnold & Porter (2010-2013) I have acted as counsel in arbitration of disputes involving, predominantly, intellectual property rights and related contractual and competition law issues ( principally, patent disputes and disputes involving alleged breach of trade secrets/confidential information). Since 2013 I have served as an arbitrator for the LCIA; ICC; SCC (Stockholm); WIPO; HKIAC (Hong Kong); and the IFTA (International Film & Television Alliance) and as Chairman of a DRB (Dispute Resolution Board) under ICC Rules. I have also served as a mediator in Switzerland, the USA and the United Kingdom with disputes involving IPRs and related issues.
