Full time ADR Professional since 2017. 37 years experience practicing law. Began career as a federal judicial law clerk followed by 5 years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the US Dept. of Justice trying numerous civil and criminal jury trials and handling appeals. Thereafter was a shareholder for 14 years in complex commercial litigation boutique handling securities, trademark & copyright and a wide variety of commercial disputes. Formed own firm in 2003 and spent the next 14 years mediating, arbitrating, litigating and serving as a special master in state, federal and bankruptcy court, before FINRA and the AAA, also expanding my ADR and litigation practice to include employment-related matters. In 2017 went full time into ADR and have further expanded my expertise to include health care.

I have conducted approximately 1800 mediations across many substantive areas and have served as a sole arbitrator or panel member in over 80 arbitrations. The substantive areas of neutral practice include securities, real estate related matters, contracts, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud, employment, health care, insurance coverage, legal and accounting professional liability, trade secrets, trademark and copyright infringement and counterfeiting, covenants not to compete, tax-exempt and taxable bond financing, fraudulent transfers and claw-backs, preference actions, class and collective actions, tortious interference, franchises, dealer termination, antitrust, civil rights, corporate derivative actions, international manufacturing disputes, software licensing and implementation and reverse engineering disputes.
