Haley Carter is a strategic sourcing and Six Sigma expert with over a decade of experience in operations, procurement, and contract management. A 2006 honors graduate of the Naval Academy, she spent nearly eight years as a logistics officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, making two combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and leading multiple humanitarian missions across Southeast Asia.
Since leaving Active Duty, Haley has held a number of corporate sourcing and supply chain roles progressing from Category Manager to Director. She has led sourcing in the electronics manufacturing, chemicals distribution, and oil and gas industries and now focuses primarily on Business Transformation and Process Improvement. As a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Process leader, her passion is driving synergy between commercial teams, corporate business groups, and operations.
In addition to her degree from the Naval Academy, Carter owns an MBA with Distinction from the University of Liverpool and currently attends the University of Houston Law Center in pursuit of a joint J.D./LL.M., specializing in International Economic Law.
She is a Lifetime Girl Scout and serves as an Executive Board Member for both the Asherah Foundation and the U.S. Naval Academy TxGC Foundation. Her personal military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (w/ Gold Star in Lieu of Second Award).
