Vui Yen (V.Y.) is a professional civil engineer with over 10-years of experience in the construction and property development sectors in Malaysia. He is well adept with geotechnical, civil and structural engineering works, as well as the administration of construction contracts. V.Y possess the practicing certificate governed by the Malaysian Engineers Act, entitling him under the law to endorse and submit engineering plans in Malaysia.

His pursuance for the MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution with Leeds Beckett University enabled him to be conferred Fellowship with the CIArb in 2018. Equipped with the training in construction laws and his hands-on experience in the construction industry, he is available to provide consultancy and advisory services for project planning, technical (engineering) and contractual matters.

As well as regularly being appointed by the AIAC to hear construction dispute under statutory adjudication, his experience in construction dispute works (expert works and ADR) will be beneficial to various stakeholders, either as a representative or an arbitrator or an adjudicator in engineering and construction matters.
