I am an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry.
Skilled in Business Planning, Management Reporting and Distribution Strategy. Strong business development professional with a Postgraduate Diploma focused on Financial Strategy from University of Oxford, Said Business School. Over the last few years I have been focusing more on general insurance. I led a team on personal lines include travel insurance, medical insurance, home protection, motor insurance etc. Most of these are relating to protecting a personal property or oneself. Besides, I also participated in helping Chubb Life to set up best practice pillars to redefine the discipline and regional guidelines for running Life Agency operation model.
I have worked in both Life and General Insurance industries. Through which I am privileged to appreciate insurance is a people business, and it builds upon the trust among three parties: the producers (Life agents or brokers), customers and insurers. No matter I worked in either Life or General Insurance, my duties include manage different expectations of people and negotiate with different people to close a deal (business targets, a project deadline etc.). Besides, I also driving to establish a management reporting mechanism to lead the analysis on business performance and provide the necessary commentary for management.
After years being engaged in both Life and General Insurance, I believe my experience would contribute on arbitration about insurance business. It will be great if I can working towards the alternative dispute resolution of insurance industry.
