Azubike Okoye is a dual-licensed attorney in Nigeria and the United States (MO). He is a Foreign Legal Consultant certified by the Florida Bar (not admitted to practice Florida law). He is well-positioned to serve corporations in international ADR assignments in the United States and the Nigerian economy, Africa's largest national market, and a key oil producer.

He was a lecturer, Foreign Professor and Panelist on ADR topics at events sponsored by the Center for Management and Development in Nigeria; the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana Law School in Brazil; and American Bar Association.

Additionally, he is the recipient of multiple awards and professional accreditations, including Fellow status with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, U.K.; Prime Dispute, U.K.; Arbitration and Mediation Institute of New Zealand; and the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators. Also, Mr. Okoye holds arbitrator status with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in the U.S. Mr. Okoye received the prestigious Young ICCA Scholarship and Federal Government Undergraduate Scholarship for his excellent credentials.

He has published numerous articles on topics such as mandatory injunction, customary arbitration in Nigerian jurisprudence, and the attitude of Latin American jurisdictions towards arbitration. He has served as an arbitrator, mediator, counsel, or expert witness for dozens of disputes, including, but not limited to, the following:

 Acted for an American bank in defending a claim relating to oil exploration and trustee obligations arising from a third-party liability claim.
 Acted for an international financial institution in defending claims in multiple consolidated proceedings arising from a complex construction contract executed in Ghana.
 Represented a foreign corporation in a failed real estate acquisition transaction predicated on enforcement of a letter of indemnity.

Mr. Okoye earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in law in 2006 from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State, Nigeria. He attended Nigerian Law School and was admitted to practice law in Nigeria in 2007. He also obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Miami, Florida, United States, in 2022, in International Law and Legal Studies with a specialization in International Arbitration.
