CIArb India Young Members Group (YMG), in association with Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA), is pleased to organize an interactive session in continuation with the MCIA Annual Conference in September 2019, for those aspiring to be Tribunal Secretaries and Arbitrators.
Through the first session, CIArb India YMG endeavors to provide a holistic understanding to young students and practitioners on the role of Tribunal Secretaries. Expert practitioners such as Kshama Loya, Shashwat Sharma and Arush Khanna will provide guidance on the qualifications of Tribunal Secretaries, the role they play in arbitration proceedings, and the wide advantages of assuming this role. This session will also serve as a prelude to the two-day extensive workshop to be conducted by CIArb in November 2019 for those aspiring to be Tribunal Secretaries.
The session will also introduce young practitioners to the world of arbitrators. Expert arbitrators such as Steven Lim, Sudhanshu Swaroop QC and Dharam Jumani will share their experiences on their appointment as arbitrators and their journey so far, while guiding the way to secure such appointments at an early stage in the legal career.
Join us for the session where CIArb India YMG, in collaboration with MCIA, will bring together an interesting panel of young and senior experts for an enriching discussion.
