Partnership Programme

Partnership Programme

CIArb has substantial experience in working with partners in delivering training to avoid, manage and resolve disputes that prevent the need to go to court. It has four partnership routes under which it can work with other organisations in the delivering ADR training:

Strategic Partner: CIArb and the partner design a new ADR training programme.

Product Partner: CIArb works with partners in the delivery of CIArb’s courses.

Accredited Partner: CIArb’s ‘Recognsied Course Provider’ scheme under which CIArb maps existing ADR courses at an educational institutional against CIArb’s learning outcomes and assessments so that those who successfully complete that programme can apply for CIArb membership.

Collaborative Partnership: CIArb partners in the delivery of non-CIArb ADR training.

Some of the benefits that those who successfully complete CIArb’s member courses and become members include:

Career Development Services:

  • Training to support career growth and progression
  • Networking events: member-only discounts for regional, national and international events

Professional Services:

  • Resources such as templates, forms, rules, recommended clauses, guidelines and ethics resources
  • Regional and global network of 41 branches and many chapters
  • Dedicated ADR interest groups, for example, Young Members Group (YMG)

Member Benefits:

  • Use of special postnominal letters for Associate, Member, Chartered and Fellow status
  • Online journals (Arbitration journal), Magazines (Resolver) and industry reports
  • Policy, ADR thought leadership consultations and news updates via our MyCIArb

In addition, those partners who join CIArb’s Corporate Members scheme can benefit from discounted and customised training opportunities to grow skills, as well as avoid litigation and save time and costs. They also get early-bird and premium invitations to CIArb events and opportunities to participate in consultations on setting standards within the dispute avoidance and resolution space.

Apart from skills development, corporate members have access to professional resources such as templates, forms, rules, recommended clauses, guidelines and ethics resources plus use of the CIArb-approved corporate member logo demonstrating standards of excellence and professionalism in ADR, and evidence of that commitment to clients, partners and employees. Corporate members are listed in the Corporate Member Directory and also get sponsorship and speaking opportunities.
