The Board of Management is responsible for the execution and management of the Institute’s strategy. Up to 15 members are appointed annually by the Board of Trustees.
The Board of 12 Trustees is elected by the membership in the region they represent. They are responsible for all monies as well as the strategic direction of the Institute.
The Institute's Standing Committees, Boards and Sub-Committees are responsible for achieving the object and charitable purposes of the Institute on a global basis.
The Board of Trustees has the power to publish a report of any action taken by the Institute against, or in connection, with a member; pursuant to the Schedule to the Bye-Laws of CIArb.
The Trustees' Annual Report and Accounts provide an overview of activity in that year.
The CIArb treats all parties alike. However, where parties are subject to sanctions the CIArb will need to take this into account.
