Help shape the practitioners of tomorrow

Ciarb is seeking input from ADR professionals as it develops its new training curricula. Your input today can help shape the ADR practitioners of tomorrow.

For many years Ciarb has provided qualifications that allow professionals of diverse backgrounds to access Associate, Member and Fellow grade membership. The postnominals of Ciarb membership are synonymous with an international mark of excellence in the global ADR community.

Ciarb sets the standard for private dispute resolution training and practice around the world. As such, it is imperative that we continually review and adjust our qualifications to ensure the training we provide is of a consistently high standard. In turn, this means that our members can be sure that their skills, knowledge and experience are globally recognised through their Ciarb postnominals.

We have recently developed competence frameworks, found here. These set out the minimum competence statements for each Ciarb membership grade. Each Ciarb framework is focused on the competence of a neutral, whether that be in mediation, arbitration or adjudication.

We are reforming our qualifications to align with these newly developed competence frameworks and standards of excellence. An integral part of this is to engage with ADR professionals from all spheres of practice. We invite you to lend your time, subject and sector level expertise to input into the development of our new curricula. This is your opportunity to shape the practitioners of tomorrow and maintain the strength and global relevance of Ciarb postnominals for years to come.

What is involved

Your valuable contribution will ensure that our Faculty can begin their process of developing courses and assessments that reflect the rigour and value of our postnominals.
