Ciarb and CCL agree collaboration

Ciarb has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cámara de Comercio de Lima (CCL). The MoU formalises the organisations’ intention to collaborate in order to promote and develop alternative dispute resolution in Peru.

Ciarb has signed a memorandum of understanding with CCL (Lima Chamber of Commerce). Under the agreement, the two organisations will work collaboratively to support the promotion, facilitation and growth of private dispute resolution in Peru by:

  • Delivering Ciarb training and education.
  • Marketing engagement opportunities such as events and research.
  • Co-operating to organise events.

Catherine Dixon, CEO of Ciarb, said “We have seen extraordinary interest and growth in private dispute resolution in South America. I thank our Ciarb Brazil Branch which has led the way, raising awareness and delivering training in the region. This collaboration with CCL further enhances our activities in Peru. By working together, we can more effectively promote and advance private dispute resolution in country.”

Gonzalo García Calderón, President of the Superior Arbitration Council of the Arbitration Center of the CCL, said, “We are delighted to be working with Ciarb, the foremost global alternative dispute resolution body. There is huge potential for ADR in Peru. By collaborating, we can provide greater opportunities for the adoption and promotion of ADR in the country.”
