Chartered status represents excellence in practice. Members with relevant experience can apply for Chartered Arbitrator (C.Arb) status during two application rounds in 2024.

We expect to publish dates and relevant documentation for the Autumn 2024 application round in August. 

Requirements

To be eligible to apply for Chartered Arbitrator status, an applicant must:

  • Be an existing Ciarb Fellow 
  • Have experience of completing a minimum of fifteen (15) difficult and complex cases as an arbitrator; and 
  • Have a diverse range of experience as an arbitrator.

Annual membership fee

Chartered grade membership fees differ depending on your country of residence, and the month in which you join us (fees are pro-rata on a monthly basis).
