As a Commercial Manager for Willmott Dixon Interiors and with over 24 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, I am responsible for the financial delivery of mixed commercial projects around the United Kingdom. Most of my professional life has been spent working for Main Contractors where I have been able to hone my commercial management, contract, negotiation and analytical skills in managing a broad range of tasks, challenges and scenarios prevalent in our Industry. My management style is to foster a close working relationship with all my colleagues through a philosophy of honesty, openness, recognition and teamwork. This is something whether it be in my professional life or private life has always resonated with me. I see myself as one of the team and very much like to be hands on where possible. I like to lead by being able to empower and listen to all points of view before making informed and considered decisions. In my last eleven years with Willmott Dixon I believe that I have witnessed a cultural shift in how business is done and the importance of investing in people in order to fulfil their own potential.
