In 2017, after leaving the international law firm, based in Milan and Moscow, that she had co-founded, Mrs Francese started her new practice focusing on ADR and ADR-related matters. Her fields of expertise vary from contract law (supply of goods and services, procurement, IP) to techlaw (blockchain, smart contracts, industry 4.0) where she advises her clients both in domestic and international matters. She is also the Academic Director (responsabile scientifico) of a training institution for mediators, registered by the Italian Ministry of Justice and a lecturer in a course on ADR at the University of Milan "Statale", School of Law. Working for the Milan Bar Association mediation provider and for the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste, Mrs Francese has achieved a considerable experience in all the civil matters regulated by mandatory mediation (rights in rem, division of assets, inheritance, family estates, lease, civil liability for medical malpractice, defamation in the press or other media, insurance, banking, condominium), having mediated hundreds of cases (preliminary meetings included, as per Legislative Decree 28/2010). In addition to that she also mediated a significant number of "voluntary" mediations, i.e. mediations on matters for which the Italian law does not prescribe mediation as a condition for the legal action. Within the latter, mediations on professional civil responsability and contract of procurement played an important role. She's also an accredited mediator within the Belgian Mediation Federal Commission and with the Florence International Mediation Chamber. She is IMI certified. Mrs Francese adopts a facilitative mediation style, and the evaluative one only upon request. She is an expert on participative processes and cooperative networking and she has been working for a number of companies and communities as a facilitator, organizing and conducting meeting with tools such as Open Space technology, World Café, Visual meetings, and so on.
