Tyler Meade brings three decades of diverse experience to his mediation and arbitration practice, with extensive experience from both sides of the “v”: Mr. Meade has handled all manner of contract disputes, including cases involving technology startups. He has deep experience with RICO, securities fraud, and unfair competition claims. He is well versed in complex litigation, having litigated class actions and managed the defense of mass tort cases. He has litigated cases involving condominiums and fractional properties around the U.S. Finally, he understands the perspective of a general counsel as well as the crypto space, having represented, advised, then served as general counsel for Gemini Trust Company, LLC, the New York-based cryptocurrency / digital asset custodian and exchange. Admitted to California Bar in 1992 and to the New York Bar in 2015. In addition, Mr. Meade is admitted to the following federal courts: Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, 2012; Northern District of California, 1992; Eastern District of California, 2001; Southern District of California, 2011; Central District of California, 2011; Second Circuit Court of Appeals, 2020; Southern District of New York, 2016; Eastern District of New York, 2016; U.S. Supreme Court, 2014; District of Colorado, 2016. In addition, Mr. Meade has studied mediation at the Harvard Program on Negotiation, the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution at Cornell University, and Pepperdine Law School’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. He regularly attends ADR programs sponsored by the ABA, NYSBA, and other associations.
