Personal bio
I am admitted to practise in England and Wales (barrister), Dubai International Financial Centre (Part 1 and Part 2 registered), and the Emirate of Dubai. I also practise before the Abu Dhabi Global Market and Qatar Financial Centre Courts and am registered to appear before the Courts and in arbitration in the Astana International Financial Centre. I am a senior associate in dispute resolution at Charles Russell Speechlys in Dubai and a door tenant of Outer Temple Chambers in London and the UAE. I was recommended as a ‘Rising Star’ in the Legal 500 in both 2020 and 2021 and was “notable” in the Legal 500, 2019 (UAE Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and International Litigation). I have experience of arbitrations seated in the UAE, including the DIFC and ADGM, under a variety of laws (English/DIFC, UAE and Swiss laws in particular) and institutional rules (e.g., DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, ADCCAC and ICC).
