I am currently a Managing Associate in the Construction & Engineering team of Addleshaw Goddard (Middle East) LLP, based in Dubai but acting on matters throughout the Middle East including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Oman. Prior to moving back into private practice I held the role of in house Legal Counsel for a significant regional contractor with projects throughout the Middle East and Africa. I specialise as a legal advisor to contractors, subcontractors and employers in dispute resolution, particularly arbitration and litigation, and have participated in arbitrations under the auspices of the ICC, DIFC-LCIA, DIAC, ADCCAC, QICCA and UNCITRAL as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. I have been involved in matters from project conception to final account and dispute resolution with experience in contract/commercial management, contract formation, contract advice, contract administration and dispute avoidance/resolution in the construction and civil engineering sectors. I have both contentious and non-contentious experience having had involvement on various types of project including shopping malls, ports, roads and bridges, solar plants, hotels, airports, mixed use towers and developments, landmark buildings and residential master developments.
