Personal bio

I am an English-qualified barrister and a member of Fountain Court Chambers, based in Singapore since 2011. I specialise in international arbitration: I am regularly instructed to advise on and appear as Counsel in commercial and construction disputes by law firms and on behalf of clients based all over Asia and beyond. My experience includes cases determined under a wide variety of governing laws and arbitral rules, in Asia, Europe and the US, and I frequently work as co-counsel with lawyers from many jurisdictions.

In addition to my work as Counsel, I accept appointments as sole, presiding and co-arbitrator, and I have been appointed in cases under the SIAC, ICC, HKIAC, and LCIA rules and in ad hoc arbitration.

I originally qualified as a solicitor in 2002, and practised as a solicitor-advocate in Allen & Overy’s international arbitration group before joining Fountain Court Chambers in 2017.
