Personal bio
Laura has significant expertise in the arbitration of complex disputes and regularly advises clients on all aspects of domestic and international arbitration proceedings, including drafting arbitration clauses, interim orders, hearing processes and the enforcement of arbitral awards. She has significant expertise arbitrating disputes in the food, beverage and agribusiness, energy, mining, construction, cannabis, hospitality, retail, and infrastructure sectors. Laura is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). She is a director of both the Canada Branch and the Vancouver Chapter of the Canada Branch of the CIArb as well as the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre (VanIAC). She is an invited member of the Western Canada Commercial Arbitration Society (WCCAS) and a director of the inaugural board of CanArbWeek.
