Tapan Shah holds engineering degree from India and Post-graduation in Construction Law from UK. He has over 20 years of professional experience, working on a variety of projects in India and Middle East, for Oil & Gas, Power and Construction sectors, representing blue chip organisations such as Larsen & Toubro, Essar, Dodsal. Currently, he is working as Contracts Manager with Al Ghurair and leads the Contract Administration and Claims Management for the construction business. He has experienced the framework of contract management life-cycle encompassing pre and post award activities up to close-out and settlement of claims for mega projects. He has strong contractual experience with proven track records for all contractual and commercial matters related to Contracts Management, Claims and dispute avoidance or resolution. He has demonstrable experience in the analysis of claims defence or responses and claim submissions as well as the ability to conclude and close-out the matters of dispute prior to commencement of formal dispute resolution proceedings.
