Personal bio
Andrew is a Chartered Architect with over fifteen years’ experience in the construction industry. He has a varied portfolio of new-build and refurbishment projects across different sectors including: residential, education, community and healthcare. He has been involved in master-planning with experience of working on Listed Buildings in the UK. He has acted as design team leader through all stages of the design and construction process, including contract administration, and has led the production of complex design information packages (using both CAD and BIM). Andrew has coordinated the inputs of other design disciplines and large stakeholder groups and been involved in all aspects of practice management including reviewing appointments, developing scopes of services and fees. Andrew has been instructed as an Expert on several matters in the UK and has played a key role in assisting on large, complex and high-value claims in international arbitrations. He has prepared reports for use in adjudication, arbitration and mediation and also prepared CPR35 compliant reports for service in litigation, including the Technology and Construction Court (TCC). He has engaged in the expert conferral process, most significantly in connection with international disputes and have also appeared before a tribunal in proceedings alongside lead experts. Andrew is also a trained Adjudicator and Arbitrator.
