Personal bio

Mr Wung Hee MOH ("Moh" as he is known) is an international urban development specialist with extensive experience in Singapore, India, and China. He had been Senior Vice President of Ascendas-Singbridge (part of CapitaLand after June 2019) till end 2019. Before that, he had held senior professional leadership positions in Singapore’s Public Sector, retiring from PUB Singapore in Sept 2009 as Director of its Best Sourcing Department responsible then for all PUB’s development projects. His representative international accomplishment was the planning and implementation of the 123sqkm China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. He was a key member of the pioneer team that undertook the master planning of this greenfield city, and he completed the infrastructure construction of its 6sqkm start-up core centre that forms the nucleus of the city development. Prior to that, he had made notable contributions towards Singapore’s water resources development, having implemented full range of water resources projects (including stormwater and flood control, used water, water supply, water recycling and desalination) valued well over S$10billion. He was awarded the Public Service Medal (Silver) in 2005. Mr Moh graduated from the University of Singapore in 1977 with Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours). He also holds Master Degree of Science (Construction Engineering) from University of Singapore, Post-graduate Diploma in Hydraulic Engineering with Distinction from the International Institute for Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (Delft) The Netherlands, International Executive Programme (IEP) Certificate from INSEAD (Fontainebleau) France, and Graduate Certificate for International Arbitration (GCIA) from Law Faculty of National University of Singapore. He is a Fellow of IES (Singapore), ICE(UK), SIArb (Singapore), and CIArb(UK).
