Personal bio
Eric is a Legal Practitioner with over 6 years post bar experience in corporate advisory, company secretarial, conveyancing and civil litigation & dispute resolution involving commercial transactions, employment disputes, water law, trademark law, estate planning and divorce.
He has worked in private practice as Associate Advocate at SLM Legal Practitioners and Head of Litigation and corporate advisory at John Kaite Legal Practitioners, and the water sector as the first ever in-house Legal Counsel & Company Secretary at Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company Limited. Eric was instrumental in the set up and management of a functional legal department in the 20-year history of the company.
As an in-house corporate counsel, his primary practice areas are commercial arbitration, corporate advisory, company secretarial and corporate governance, civil litigation, compliance and risk management, and contract administration among others.
Eric is progressively gaining experience in energy and construction law, securities law, capital markets and project financing/management.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia. He is an Advocate of the High Court for Zambia, a member of the Law Association of Zambia and the International Bar Association.
Eric firmly believes that whatever he does, he delivers exceptionally well.
