Senior Executive in the Industry Liaison team at Gard (UK) Ltd., the marine insurer since early 2022. Actively engaged with the marine, offshore energy and offshore renewables industries, building relationships and growing influence for Gard. Prior to that, 17 years as a barrister specialising in maritime and commercial law at 4 Pump Court Chambers, London and Stone Chambers, London. Acted as sole counsel in the English Commercial Court, Court of Appeal and in multiple LMAA and international arbitrations. Several years commercial experience straight out of university as a corporate financier at Robert Fleming & Co., Chase Manhattan and JPMorgan. Recently completed an executive MBA at Surrey Business School, with particular focus on sustainability.
