Personal bio
I have chaired the Tax Appeal Court of Trinidad and Tobago for the past 20 years. This is a Superior Court of Record which employs both Judicial Dispute Resolution and Mediation techniques in resolving disputes. I am also a certified mediator, mediation trainer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Member of Faculty of CIArb as well as a Senior Lecturer in Mediation Studies and a WIPO Neutral. I have also trained extensively in Investment Mediation and Arbitration. I also serve on the Taxation Committee of the International Law Association and am a Director of the International Association of Tax Judges as well as a Member of the International Fiscal Association and a Doctoral Research Candidate in International Relations.
