Personal bio

I am an Australian Silk specialising in all forms of alternative dispute resolution including mediation, arbitration and expert determination. My areas of expertise include banking and securities, contract, general commercial, insolvency, insurance, professional indemnity, property and sports law.

I am an accredited arbitrator, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, a Fellow of Resolution Institute and registered in the Australian Register of Practising Arbitrators as a Grade 1 Arbitrator. “Doyles Guide to the Australian Legal Profession” has recognised me in 2019 - 2024 as one of the country’s leading Arbitration Silks, principally for my work as an arbitrator. I have conducted in excess of 100 arbitral procedures including as Chair, winger and sole arbitrator.

I am accredited as an advanced mediator by Resolution Institute (formerly LEADR). I am also accredited by Resolution Institute under the Australian Mediator and Dispute Resolution Accreditation Standards (AMDRAS) and have been ranked by “Doyles Guide to the Australian Legal Profession” as a leading mediator in New South Wales, 2018-2024. I have conducted over 450 complex multi-party mediations.

I am also regularly retained by parties to provide expert determinations and to conduct Supreme Court references.
