Manu is a lawyer with broad experience across prominent international jurisdictions in commercial litigation and arbitration, investment treaty and public international law, international trade and WTO law, customs and indirect taxation, white-collar defence, and sector-specific regulatory disputes. In commercial litigation and arbitration, Manu has acted for private and sovereign clients before the courts in New Delhi (including the Indian Supreme Court) and before international tribunals constituted under the ICC, SIAC, HKIAC, and DIS rules. In investment treaty and public international law, Manu has acted for private and sovereign clients before investment treaty tribunals constituted under the UNCITRAL and ICSID rules. Manu has also advised on ICJ proceedings and on issues of sovereign immunity before domestic courts. In international trade, Manu has acted for private and sovereign clients before (Indian) trade regulatory bodies as well as WTO panels. Manu has also advised clients on cross-border commodity trade (customs laws) and Free Trade Agreements. Manu also has temporary experience at the WTO. Manu practices in New Delhi, and is qualified in India and England and Wales. Manu also serves as an arbitrator on the panel of various arbitral institutions.
