As Project Manager and “The Engineer” (FIDIC-The Red Book) for the last ten years, on many projects with successful Pre-Arbitral Dispute Settlements through the effective use of mediation, my favorite ADR tool. My efforts as an ADR practitioner bore fruit, especially as the Head of Contracts, Neelum Jhelum, Hydro Power Project AJK, where billions of $ payments were regularized into a contractually compliant framework, with me in the lead role through effective mediation. Also assisting lawyers in several construction arbitrations, in necessary paperwork concerning framing statements of issues, arguments, and so forth. Currently, after retirement from NESPAK, I am employed as a Contracts Specialist on ADB-funded projects of Irrigation Barrages ( MBD - FIDIC 2010 The Pink Book). And in this position dealing with and attending Dispute Boards and Arbitrations. Currently employed by SMEC/EGC. My other chief interests are philosophy and history. I love sports, seeing new cultures, landscapes, and socializing with family and friends. ADR is my passion.
