Personal bio
Richard is a barrister called in 1999 with a broad common law background. He mediates regularly (around 5 times a month) in a wide range of disputes from relatively low value probate and commercial matters to multi-million disputes.
He has a particular interest in Hybrid ADR having published papers (and a chapter in the CIarb book Brand New World: The Evolution and Future of Arbitration) and is the architect of and preferred arbitrator for Mediation 1st's "Mediation Guarantee Scheme".
Richard also sits on the Disciplinary Panel for the Civil Mediation Council.
