Personal bio
I am an independent dispute resolution practitioner, arbitrator and mediator, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). I am accredited as a mediator by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and registered with the Spanish Ministry of Justice’s Registry of Mediators. I am also a member of the Specialist Mediator Panel of the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC).
I serve on the Board of the Madrid Business Mediation Centre (CMEM), part of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and am a member of its Committee for the Study of ADR.
My dispute resolution experience encompasses arbitration, mediation, and litigation, with a particular focus on commercial, construction, insurance, and civil liability disputes in both domestic and international contexts. Over the course of my legal career, I have acted as counsel in disputes before state courts, arbitral tribunals and dispute boards, including proceedings conducted under the auspices of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Alongside my dispute resolution practice, I am an Adjunct Professor at IE Law School and a faculty member at Centro de Estudios Garrigues, where I teach private law and dispute resolution. I hold a PhD in Comparative Law and previously practised as Counsel at Cuatrecasas.
