Personal bio
I have been practicing labour and commercial law as a litigation lawyer at the Brussels Bar- Belgium from 1991 to 2007. I took the examination at the Magistrate Council and served as a judge in commercial matters at the Brussels Court from 2007-2011. I worked as counsel at the SIAC in Singapore from 2011 to 2013 and as Director of Mediation at the SIMC. I qualified as Fellow Arbitrator from the National University of Singapore (NUS) - Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration (2013). In 2016, I moved to Seoul, South Korea, where I worked as foreign lawyer at Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in Seoul, specialised in business and international law. After a two-year mediation training at the Brussels University (UCL-St Louis) I am accredited mediator with the Belgian Ministry of Justice in commercial and labour law disputes.
