Overview
Herman Jeremiah is an arbitrator and independent counsel. He now has his own sole practice in his own name. He was previously a Senior Partner in the Dentons Rodyk Litigation and Dispute Resolution practices, co-heading the firm's international arbitration practice. His areas of practice for 36 years in commercial dispute resolution include international arbitration, banking and finance litigation, insolvency litigation, shareholder and joint venture disputes and high value contract disputes. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1988 and the Bar of England & Wales in 2020 (an Unregistered Barrister). Qualified in Singapore with an LLB from National University of Singapore (1987) and an LLM from Queen Mary University of London (2023) with focus on investment treaty arbitration aside from international commercial arbitration. He is a panel arbitrator of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), ICC Commission Delegate, HKIAC List of Arbitrators, DIAC List of Arbitrators, LCIA Asia Pacific Users' Council and AIAC arbitrator panelist.
