From the starting of my career, dispute resolution was my strength and my interest in construction law and arbitration has been increased when I participated in 3 nos. arbitrations as of today. I have completed below three arbitrations. 1. First of my arbitration was one of our subcontractors at one of the Airport projects in UAE. We were the Claimant in this arbitration. This was my first arbitration to attend as a factual witness. Hearing was completed in October 2018. 2. Arbitration with one of our painting subcontractors at the same project. I was the main factual witness, and we were the Respondent in this case and hearing occurred in Nov. 2021. 3. Third arbitration was with our client; I was the factual witness of this arbitration and appeared in the hearing in-front of the panel of 3 nos. arbitrators recently in June 2023. All these arbitrations are related to one of our completed projects. I was the Project Manager on this project; hence I have been assigned as factual witness for these arbitrations. I have coordinated with internal team for preparing the documents for submission to Tribunal, closely dealt with external legal firms to explain the case on factual ground with complete history of the project, attended the sessions with Counsel, meetings with planning, technical and quantum experts and presented the documents whenever requested. Finally, I appeared as factual witness in all above-mentioned arbitrations.
