In 2014-2016 I undertook and gained a Master in Construction law and Dispute Resolution and Leeds Beckett University where the modules include: Adjudication Law and Practice, Arbitration, Negotiation, Mediation, Law of Obligation, Construction Law. Law and Practice of Claims, Award and Decision Writing, The Arbitration Module included History of Arbitration, The Arbitration Act 1996, Agreements, institutions, Rules and Schemes, Commencement, Appointment and Jurisdiction, Duties, powers of the tribunal, functions, powers and duties, Fees. We were required to demonstrate our learning by undertaking various elements of an Arbitration, including preparing an Arbitrators Final Award.
