Personal bio
Diederik de Groot was admitted to the Dutch bar in 1981. After a career in international law firms (Baker & McKenzie and DLA Piper) he retired in 2016 to start his own firm (De Groot Law). Diederik de Groot specialises in (international) commercial contracts, comparative and private international law, private enforcement of competition law, complex litigations and arbitration. He frequently sits as an arbitrator (in ICC, NAI, ad hoc and UNCITRAL proceedings).
