Personal bio

Reiss is a panel adjudicator so has an in-depth knowledge of the construction adjudication process and ADR in general. He holds a Master of Laws degree in Construction Law and Adjudication and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Reiss is a panel arbitrator for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators ‘Business Arbitration Scheme’. Reiss is an experienced chartered MEP quantity surveyor and chartered construction manager, having practiced in both consultancy and contracting organisations. He has an extensive commercial knowledge of mechanical and electrical works, having specialised in this field for the past nine years. He is currently a commercial manager for a large building services sub-contractor. Reiss is also an RICS registered expert witness having completed the RICS competency assessments for expert witnesses, including the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies required to act as an expert witness, including constructing a comprehensive CPR Part 35 compliant expert report and delivering evidence in court.
