James Pearson has over 30 years experience in the ESG, environmental, safety and sustainability advisory sector. He is currently the CEO of Pacific Risk Advisors (PRA) a Hong Kong based ESG risk management consultancy that has a global reach. Mr Pearson has extensive experience in addressing business and management risks from an environmental, social, governance (ESG) awareness and sustainable perspective. He advises boards and investors on the ESG risks of an investment and offers practical mitigation and remediation solutions. He often becomes a retained ESG Advisor to funds to advise on strategy and implementation. Mr Pearson has conducted numerous ESG regulatory, risk and compliance related investigations throughout Asia, supported funds on E&S risk management systems and approaches and has authored several chapters in “Sustainable Risk Management in China” and “Managing Business Risk”.
