Personal bio
I have always had an interest in Business and Law and that is why I elected to undertake my undergraduate studies at the Keele University (U.K.), where I attained a dual honours degree in Law and Business Administration, with a minor in Mathematics. I have over 15 years post admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya experience. I am also a Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public and a duly licensed Patent Agent of KIPI. I am currently pursuing membership as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators having recently undertaken the virtual route to Fellowship course with CIARB. In my 15 years of practice, my main areas of practice and specialization has been in: - 1. Litigation – having conducted cases in several courts including in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court and in the Subordinate Courts; 2. Alternative Dispute Resolutions – having conducted several matters before Arbitral Tribunals; and 3. Conveyancing – having prepared several conveyancing documents. I am known for my passion for the law, indefatigable work ethic, forthrightness, ingenuity and exemplary client service. I have also held the position of Managing Partner of Menezes & Partners Advocates since its inception in June 2015, I have continued to steer the firm’s growth and development to be a law firm of choice for many individual and corporate clients based locally and internationally. I am also a believer in having a good work/life balance and as such I am also interested in Community Service, for Several years I have provided Pro-Bono Legal Services and Consultancy to South B. United Academy [S.U.S.A.], a non-profit sports Academy that runs several sports programmes for young children from Mukuru Kwa Njenga Area which is an underprivileged Area located in Nairobi. I also have interests in music, sports & fitness such as exercise, hiking, swimming, yoga, reading autobiographies & other educational articles, watching documentaries and travelling.
