David focuses on mediation and arbitration of complex commercial disputes and as a court-appointed Special Master. Panels: AAA, ICDR, International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) (2016-pres); ICC/ USCIB, Federal Arbitration, Inc. (FedArb). David is a retired partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP (NY),where he litigated commercial disputes and advised business clients from 1978 to 2015. Representative arbitrations and mediations have focused on mergers & acquisitions/ joint ventures, insurance, securities and financial services, contracts and fraud, IP, sports, employment, distribution and franchise relationships, product liability and accountants/ lawyers liability and partnership issues. He teaches complex civil litigation at Duke Law School (2011 to present) and University of Miami Law School (2018-present).
