Dr Ronan Feehily BComm, LLB, LLM, MBA, PhD, Solicitor (Ireland, Northern Ireland, England & Wales), FCIArb, AM CEDR

Dr Feehily is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, CEDR Accredited Mediator and Member of the Mediation Committee of the International Bar Association. He practices as a commercial arbitrator and mediator in addition to his role as Associate Professor of Commercial Law at Durham University. An experienced commercial lawyer, he has worked with a large Irish corporate law firm and as in-house legal counsel with a global FinTech company. An award winning researcher, Dr Feehily has co-authored books on contract law, company law, and commercial law and the legal system. He is the author of ‘International Commercial Mediation: Law and Regulation in Comparative Context’ Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, United Kingdom (2022) (www.cambridge.org/9781108798914). The book is recognised as the leading treatise on this emerging area of international commercial law, as reflected in the positive reviews it has received from leading academics on both sides of the Atlantic.
