Personal bio
I am an international arbitration practitioner with extensive experience in disputes related to both offshore and onshore construction projects. I have been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 2016. In 2019, I joined the CAS as an arbitrator and since 2021 I have been listed as a Certified Adjudicator on FIDIC’s “President’s List”. I have served as an arbitrator under the ICC rules, the rules of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the rules of the Danish Institute of Arbitration and in ad hoc arbitrations.
I regularly publish within my areas of expertise. I also frequently speak at international conferences and as a guest lecturer at the University of Copenhagen. In 2023, I was appointed chairman of FIDIC’s Task Group 14, which is drafting a new standard contract for offshore wind projects. In 2024, I was appointed vice chairman of the European Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and from the beginning of 2025, I will be pursuing a Ph.D in international construction law under the law faculty of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
