Personal bio
Josiah holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with a double-major in management and sociology at the University of Toronto. Immediately after his undergraduate studies, he pursed further education in law and completed his Juris Doctor degree in Hong Kong at the City University of Hong Kong. During his legal journey, he served as a J.D. student representative for one academic year. In addition, Josiah also worked as a litigation law clerk and interned at various boutique/medium-sized law firms in Hong Kong. Advocacy also plays an important role in his legal journey. He advocated in both the 29th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna and the 19th Vis East Moot in Hong Kong (with exception granted). His team advanced to the top 16 out of 364 teams and earned the Eric E. Bergsten Award for Best Team Orals (Honourable Mention). Not only has he exposed in the legal environment in Hong Kong, but also in Canada. Josiah is currently a candidate at the Global Professional Master of Laws programme at the University of Toronto, while also serving full time as a general litigation law clerk at the Ministry of the Attorney General for Ontario, Canada.
